We received some great feedback from the NFAA Sectional / Sandune Open Invitational (April 2008): "It was nice to meet you this weekend. I also wanted to thank you and everyone else that help put the shoot on. It was well worth the trip the ranges where outstanding. I feel they were just as good as any ASA shoot I have been too with the exception of the short shots; lol.I met some really good people. I like the fact that we did prayer and the pledge both days. Great job." --James Crooks "Your range and tournament support were marvelous. Range set up, signage, food outstanding. Club individuals helpful, friendly... we had a marvelous time shooting at your club and being at Sandune. Motel was outstanding with a good rate." "Thanks for being a special, gracious host... and thanks for being a great diplomat in a difficult situation. I have been to two 3-D tournaments at your club and both have displayed a club really desirous of running a good show... and your members did just that. It's always a pleasure to visit your facility." --Tim Austin, NFAA SE Councilman "Fifty one archers gathered in Myrtle Beach, SC to shoot the Southeast Sectional 3-D, all targets known distance. Those of us who arrived the night before were guided to Socastee Station, a local restaurant, for wings and drinks and check in. The way to the range was nicely marked with large clear signs, good parking, a fine practice range, and beautifully cut out lanes in thick South Carolina woods for a challenging layout of 50 mostly Reinhardt animals set out in two 15 target ranges and one 20 target range. We were grouped with different shooters, regardless of division for each of the 15 target rounds, and then grouped by division for the final round. Perfect weather and a gracious, friendly, hard working host club made for a fun weekend." "What a great shoot! This shoot was run like a big time shoot and I love the morning afternoon split. Thanks to Sandune and all that helped put on this shoot. I had a blast!" |
